TimeLine
Because of the fact that I have been in different places during the development of my project it’s sometimes a bit difficult to follow in which stage of the project I am now. This timeline gives a better impression of how the project developed during the years and where I am standing at the moment.

2020
5 March – Now
Currently I am in quarantine in Cusco, Peru on a campground. Waiting for the quarantine to lift. I am very happy I am able to spend this time with lovely people around me!
21 December – 5 March
The COP25 was moved to Madrid so we arrived in Cartagena (Colombia). After living there for 2 months while visiting schools with my project, I drove all the way to La Paz (Bolivia) by local busses where I bought my own mobile home and I travelled around Peru with the project to give talks and workshops. Currently in the city of Cusco.
2019
2 October 2019 – 21 December 2019
I boarded the sailboat called ‘Regina Maris’ with 36 young people with the project ‘Sail to the COP‘ to reach Latin America and to speak out for a fair and sustainable travel industry at the climate conference that was supposed to be in Chile…
2019/01
At the moment I am in Holland. I work as a family coach to get together all the money needed to start the project in Latin-America. I am planning the project and the trip to Latin-America at the moment, I don’t want to take the plain to arrive there so I will be hitchhiking a sailing boat from Holland to South-America. I will start the journey in August 2019.

2018/09
With my friend Guillermo Zocca I did the 2 months long try-out tour in Europe. We traveled from Holland to Spain and back and it was a big succes! We have done exactly the same thing as what I am going to do in Latin-America, but then in Europe to see if it is working and, yes it does!
2018/05
I came back to Holland to prepare the try-out tour in Europe and I also visited schools in Holland with my project.

I lived for a few months in Madrid where I gave talks and visited schools with the project.

I raised €5.000 with my crowdfunding campaign for ‘Eco Bus America’!
2017/11
When I arrived in Buenos Aires I decided to start visiting schools to practice for my project. This was the first school I gave a presentation in ‘ San Andrés de Giles’. It was an amazing experience!
2016
2016/08
During my travels through South-America I started visualizing my project by observing and talking to people about it. This picture was made in Santiago de Chile, during a strike of the garbage collectors. I think they should do a trike in every country so people realize how much trash they produce!
2016/06
I started traveling in Peru where I started to notice the massive use of plastic and the consequences of that. I realized that there was so little awareness among the people about it and after a period of being mad and feeling hopeless about this, I started to feel an incredible urge for change and I so badly wanted to do something about it in a positive way!

When I was young I was very active in raising money for animals in danger, some intrinsic motivation already drove me to do good for the world
